Sketchbook Challange

Students  received their sketchbooks this week. We talked about how special your book is and how is not only meant to sketch in. I encourage students to draw, collage, doodle, write, and experiment with different mediums. However I do discourage cutting up our sketchbook and also students are not allowed to take them home. The reason they can not take them home is because as you know children loose or forget things just as some adults, and it would be disappointing if we needed them during art class and your child did not have it.

I Challenged the students to make a design using only circles. In some cases we made a shape to fit our circles into. Some very impressive abstract work came out of this weeks lesson. Check it out!
