Summer camps are held in my home studio in Travis Heights.

 

Summer 2012


June 4th-8th-   ROBOT CAMP- Ages 7-up

In this camp we will make a wooden robot, a paper mache robot, a metal robot and a  soft robot. It will be like machine shop or wood shop class that adults had when they were kids. A lot of tools and materials to work with. Just bring your imagination and get ready to tinker.


June 11th-15th-  JACKSON POLOCK Ages 5-up

THIS CAMP IS FULL

Painting with marbles, salad spinner art, drip and swirl paint onto canvas, marbleize paper,  shaving cream painting, water play and more.


June 18th22nd-  UGLY DOLLS Ages 7-up

I probably shouldn’t call them ugly dolls because they are so cute. In this camp we will make our own creatures from scratch to finish. We will use plush soft fleece , stuffing and embellishments to create  a one of a kind doll. We will use a sewing machine and do some hand stitching.


June 25th-29th-  PRINTMAKING Ages 7-up

Foam, mono,collagraph, incised and screen printing.  Printmaking is my forte and  I have all the tools to make it happen rite here in my studio including a small flat bed press.


 

All classes are held from 9:00- 1:00 and run in week long sessions. Classes are small 4-6 students. Space is limited . The cost for the week is $200 A $30 non refundable deposit is necessary to secure your spot. This cost will be applied to your tuition  and $ 170  will be due on the fist day of class.

All supplies are included. Just bring a snack or lunch and drink. Also a towel and change of clothes or suit.
